With an alternative 6 V⎓ power supply unit, an Ajax hub or a range extender can operate from an external battery for years without being connected to the facility’s power grid. This setup is ideal for protecting buildings in critical condition, construction sites, or abandoned properties from burglars, vandals, and unauthorized occupation.

The Ajax system, which has a hub connected to a low-voltage battery via 6V PSU (type A) combined with Ajax detectors and sirens for intrusion protection, can detect and deter vandals, preventing possible damage

Install:

6V PSU (type A) is installed inside the device enclosure instead of a standard 110/230 V~ power supply unit. It has a standard jack plug to connect the power cable and includes a terminal adapter in the complete set. An installer only needs a screwdriver and a few minutes to switch the pre-installed power supply unit to 6V PSU (type A).
